Ramadhan 1433 !!

Alhamdulillah, with His bless we get to meet this beautiful Ramadhan,
hope this Ramadhan is better than before.

Together we increase our 'amal soleh' and ibadah.
Even though we are fasting Muslims,
don't make it as excuse to not exercise.
Keep our body fit and healthy !

Penerokaan Gua Batu Maloi

Tarikh : 25 June 2011
Lokasi : Johol, Negeri Sembilan
Ahli : 7 orang (fattah, ajimalik, buddy, aku, helmi, adib, parang)

Ni adalah first xpdc kami. Idea ni dicetuskan oleh ajimalik, captain kami. Time ni aku masih lagi belajar di utara malysia, join ni pon masa cuti sem.

Perjalanan kami bermula dari area Bangi - Semenyih, then pergi ke Senawang utk mengambil fattah dan helmi. Journey ni pon menggunakan kereta Rush and CRV. Dengan bantuan gps, kami pergi ke destinasi kami iaitu Hutan Lipur Gua Batu Maloi. Sedikit info, Batu Maloi ni adalah satu2 nya gua granite di malaysiayg air nya selamat digunakan. Ni based on apa yg guider tu beritahu kami lah. Kami agak lewat tiba di lokasi. Guider yg sepatutnya ikut kami x dapat join sebab anaknya bertunang, so dia hantar seorang guider yg lebih muda. Ada 3 org asing yg join kami, rasanya geng guider tu sebab baik jer diorang aku tgk.

xpdc ni agak kekurangan sikit sebabnya kami hanya ada 1 jer torchlight utk 11 org. Tapi dgn keyakinan dan semangat kami teruskan jer. Mula2 kena buat sedikit trekking utk ke pintu masuk gua tu. Mostly gua ni adalah batu dan air mengalir dalam gua. Kamera yg kami bawa pon dibungkus sampai 3 lapis dgn plastik utk mengelakkan daripada basah.

Gua ni ada 24 checkpoint, tapi kami hanya sempat menghabiskan 70% or 60% daripada gua ni sebab masalah punca cahay yg hanya ada satu jer and hari pon semakin petang. Pada awalnya tersangatlah senang trek ni. Lama2 semakin mencabar.

Kami terpaksa memanjat batu, turun batu, menyelit celah2 batu, menyelam utk melepasi batu2 and semua batu tu licin2. Kami memang sentiasa berada dan berjalan dalam arus air.
Sampai satu checkpoint, situ merupakan sarang kelawar. Bila kami suluh ke atas gua tu, penuh kelawar yg sedang berehat. Mula2 memang agak cuak, tapi teruja lah juga, mcm sarang Batman pula, ahahaha~

Kami berada dalam gua tu lebih kurang 2jam lebih. Menurut brader guider tu, lau nak kasi habis, dalam 3-4 jam lah. Tapi sebab faktor2 keselamatan, kami terpaksa habiskan awal. Walaupon tak ada rezeki nak habiskan, tapi trek nya memang sangat puas hati, mencabar dan gempak.

Dalam perjalan turun ke tempat mula, guider tu menunjukkan kami sebuah batu gergasi yg sgt besar. Katanya tempat putera bunian bersemayam dan kat atas batu tu ada perigi tp dah ditimbus sebab ada org terjatuh dalam tu dan mati. Kami pon naik lah batu tu dari bahagian belakang, senang jer naik. Dan nampak lah belas perigi yg dah ditimbus tu. Masa turun batu tu, kamu guna bahagian depan, guna akar2 pokok besar yg menjalar sekeliling batu tu. Memang cuak lah nak turun, tp manyak syiokk !!

Lepas turun, kami chill kejap kat sungai tu, sebelum siap2 utk pulang pi makan ;)

Lepas tu kami pi lah menjamu selera di Restoran Nasi Arab Damsyik, Seremban. Fattah yg bawa kami ke sini dan beliau belanja, manyak syiokk makan ! 2 talam nasi arab, seekor ayam and kambing, air pula teh o ais pudina, sangat menyegarkan, ahaha !

Gunung Datuk


sorry for being late, internet connection problem, huhu~ ^^


okay, so early in the morning of Dec. 25th, before we checked out from the chalet, we had an early morning bath at the river that i have told. The water was really freezing cold and refreshing. My body was like shrinking due to the freezing water, hahaha~ After that, we had our breakfast at a nearby stall, our morning-nasi lemak. Then, our journey continued to Gunung Datuk, Rembau.


It was not a very long journey, Kuala Pilah and Rembau are not too far using South-North Expressway. About 9.30a.m. we arrived at Gunung Datuk park. We need to register our name and pay RM5/person for police report and safety. Once again, we did not used any guider service, ehehe~


At the entrance, you can see a large keris monumen and history of Gunung Datuk. There also has a river but a little bit smaller than at Gunung Angsi and many family were picnic on that day, maybe because of it was weekend. Let them be and continue with our journey to conquer Gunung Datuk, yaa-haa !!

After done a simple stretching, very important to avoid any injury, we start our expedition ! The trek at Gunung Datuk is different from Gunung Angsi, mostly the trek is mencanak and rocky ! Even at the starting point, it is almost 90degrees. But fortunately it was not slippery and slushy even though it is mostly big-rock trek.

Approximately 2h45m we managed to arrived at the signboard of the height of Gunung Datuk, it is 2900ft (884m) from sea level, yeahh !! But the real peak of Gunung Datuk is number of giant rocks ! We need to use ladder that provided to reach the top. 

Wooaahhh !! The summit was very awesome !! Enthusiastic !! Magnificent !! Our tiredness of climbing up was like totally worth it. The wind was very strong, i was like flying away. Maybe it is because there is no tree at all. We can see clearly some part of Negeri Sembilan and a highway. The view was very beautiful. We met other groups at the top.

Our mission was achieved ! Two peaks for two days !! yaa-haa !!
After that, we had our lunch-dinner at PD. ahaha !
Alhamdulillah everything went as planned.
